Deleting Videos in My Media

  • There is no reason to delete a video from Kaltura. Videos in My Media are private, and videos stored in My Media that have not been viewed in 24 months will be deleted if they have never been published to a Canvas course or a channel or collection on video.vt.edu.
  • Deleting videos from Kaltura is permanent. No one, neither Kaltura tech support nor Virginia Tech support, can restore a video once it's deleted.
  • Videos must be unpublished before you can delete them.
